Oil demand by sector

Final energy consumption in the 28 EU Member States was 5.7 % lower in 2017 than in 2005, mainly due to reductions in the industry sector. Preliminary data suggests that this trend continues in 2018. Still, final energy consumption increased for all fuel types in the EU between 2016 and 2017.
